Our Activities
Social Meetings
Each last Saturday in the month we have a social meeting. It acts as a drop in centre where parents and carers can chat, and
children can socialise with their peers. We have a selection of toys, an arts
box and parachute.
Leisure Meetings
With thanks to a grant from a local charity we have different leisure
activities each month including Swimming, Line Dancing and Sportszone. This is
currently suspended because we have run out of money, but we hope to have more
activities coming up soon.
Committee Meetings
Our committee meeting is used to discuss the charities business including any fundraising or health issues we have. They take place once every first Monday in the month in one of our members pub.
Fundraising
We take part in three of the local galas, Halifax Lions Swimathon and
occasionally supermarket collections.
